A remarkable survivor from an almost forgotten era, born probably as gorgeous centerpiece of a corsage or a brooch, then transformed by the love of its owner, most likely during Victorian era, into a dramatic ring.

Centering is a glorious closed back natural topaz measuring approx 8.8 x 5.5 mm, 1.30 Ct by spread glowing with strong orange peach hues with a hint of sherry colour.
Framed by a halo of nine rose cut diamonds, all hand cut to fit the design, foiled and closed back totaling approx 1.00 Ct full of drama and history.
Embraced by a second tier of ten rose cut diamonds, all hand cut to fit the design, foiled and closed back starting with a bigger rose cut diamond of .75 Ct by spread and then nine rose cut diamonds totaling approx 3.30 Ct
Artfully hand crafted in 18 Kt yellow gold for the shank and rosey yellow gold for the back with lovely dark patina given by the passage of time, marked.
Very good overall condition commensurate to use and age.
