A secret lies within this ring of natural inspiration. The square top has a lid with hinge which opens to reveal the secret compartment.
The front top has a dramatic black enamel shield enhanced by five, closed back, rose cut diamonds totaling approx .10 Ct by spread with hand engraved detailing adding visual interest to the elegant ring.
It opens to reveal a tiny chamber to hold a lock of hair or fur, a miniature photo or secret message, or a petite keepsake. A nearly invisible hinge adds to the illusion.
Beautifully adorned shoulders with openwork botanical motif.
Artfully hand crafted in 18 Kt yellow gold by a master goldsmith during Victorian era, tested.
Very good overall condition commensurate to use and age.
