Here three onyx elements, cut and polished by a Victorian expert lapidary, employs the white lines to produce a design of horizontal and vertical stripes, perfectly matched.
Each earring culminates with a banded onyx drop, dangling at every movement of the head.
Each earring measures 53 mm long from the top of the shepherd hook to the base of the long teardrop.
Artfully connected by silver gilt wire, including shepherd hooks, tested.
Very good overall condition commensurate to use and age.
