Capture a memory within the confines of this mystic onyx and diamond pendant locket from Victorian era. One of the more demonstrative of jewels conveying romance and bitter, sweet memories.
Combining sentiment and memory like no other, the locket has existed for centuries, even its placement on the body has it in close proximity to the heart.
This gorgeous pendant, has been crafted from a big natural onyx stone carved in oval shape and set with rose cut diamonds, foiled and closed back. A romantic bale in silver over gold, suspends the locket, in flower shape set with rose cut diamonds.
Centering is a oval cluster of diamonds, one big in the centre, a oval rose cut diamond of approx .80 Ct by spread, with a halo of ten rose cut diamonds totalling approx .56 Ct by spread, all foiled and closed back set on silver.
In all are twenty-six (26) rose cut diamonds totalling 1.83 Ct by spread. The back reveal a compartment to hold your precious memory with a 18 Kt gold rim and bevelled glass.
Artfully crafted in silver, and 14 Kt yellow gold during Victorian era, tested and marked.
Very good overall condition, wear consistent with age and use.
