During past times, it was custom, visiting a jewelry shop , that the jeweler exhibited the treasures of the shop wearing a pair of silky, velvet gloves to preserve the delicacy and preciousness of its jewelry.

This kind of devotion and respect for the profession inspired the official birth of Antiquevelvetgloves project in London in 2012.
Antiquevelvetgloves is a group of Second generation jewelers from Italy, since childhood surrounded by objects of art, antiques, collectibles and curiosities. The group is comprises two sisters Manuela and Giorgia De Falco, and Pasquale Rossi, even if all from different paths: Gemmology , jewelry professional studies in Milan, artistic career and studies in Art and Technology at Accademia di Brera in Milan, Architecture and Design master degree at Federico II university.
A constant study on contemporary and past history, culture, on fashions and craftsmanship as well as gems knowledge are considered essential tools to restore forgotten past values through antique jewelry. Each item is individually hand picked by us, each piece must speak to our soul and must respect standards of quality, uniqueness, wearability. Once chosen, they are assessed, checked, tested to guarantee professionality and authenticity.
