Description
Known by heart
Imbued with sensual, primitive dreamy and romantic perspective of nature are these polychrome enamel and diamond pansy earrings from Art Nouveau movement.
Veiled in allegory, beauty is manifested through the nurturing of organic forms of lavish flower with evocative palette of polichromatic enamels revealing the cycle of birth, growth and rebirth.
Similar to French sound “pensez”, thinking of you was the traditional meaning attributed to these poetic diamond and enamel flower earrings.
Sensuous and evocative the two superb flowers come to life through exquisite enamel work in hues of purple and blue with warm yellow accents on three-dimensional petals.
Deep veins of blue for one flower and purple for the other, explode from a centered bright and clear old transitional cut diamond of an estimated approx .39 Ct for the pair.
Revealing at the back lovely light lavender hue enamel emulating the delicacy and fragility of the bloom. The two gorgeous pansies are of different colour, one blue and one purple, converted from brooches into evocative earrings for an attention grabber smashing style.
Artfully handcrafted in 18 Kt yellow gold and silver by a master goldsmith, tested.
Very good overall condition commensurate to use and age.
