Description
Delicate miracle
The vanity of the Victorian Era knew no bounds, the 19th century obsession with the natural world served as the wellspring of design for this lovely bracelet.
The wearable little treasure from the Victorian era was inspired by the ethereal butterfly translated into 14k gold, diamonds, garnets and pearl.
A glittering butterfly adorns the top of this lovely hook fitting bangle bracelet from Victorian era. Symmetry of composition creates a harmonious balance of elements.
The body is made of a cultured saltwater shimmering pearl of approx 3.8 mm in diameter followed by two sparkling rose cut diamonds. Rose cut diamonds demarcate the wings and two tiny cabochon cut garnets for the eyes.
In all are ten (10) handcut rose cut diamonds sparkling with approx .69 Ct by spread set on silver over gold.
Artfully crafted in 14 Kt yellow gold during Victorian era the bangle is 17 mm inner circumference and opens with a simple and secure hook fitting.
Very good overall conditions commensurate to use and age.
