Description
Omage to Victoriana
Opals are the most mysterious of gems. Within the small circumference of one stone all the colours of the spectrum sparkle with inexplicable splendor.
Magical to see, delightful to own is this classic and dramatic natural opal and diamond trilogy ring from Art Deco era.
No two opals are alike. The patterns displayed can change within the wink of an eye. These stones possess a special quality, a hypnotic shape shifting iridescence of color with an interplay of disorder within order.
Across the front are three round cabochon cut natural opals totalling approx 1.21 Ct estimated with a lively play of colour shifting from flashing orange, garrulous green and even rapturous red and hot pink with hints of purple as they flash before your eyes.
Around the opals rest eight rose cut diamonds totalling approx .08 Ct by spread.
Vintage in date, from Art Deco era this elegant ring is clearly an omage to Victorian era style, romantic heart shaped undergallery with closed back setting for the opals and classically inspired shank.
